Australia Sales Head – Senior Director/Vice President

Location
: Sydney/Melbourne

Reports to: CRO and regionally to the Co-founder

Job Overview:

The Australia Sales Head will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for

high-value SaaS products and platform within the enterprise B2B market. This individual will

enable and manage relationships with C-suite executives, build and lead a high-performance

sales team, and drive the region's growth through pipeline generation, strategic

partnerships, and execution of tailored sales motions. The Sales Head will also work closely

with the marketing and partner teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, build

demand, and ensure customer satisfaction with a focus on net retention, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:


• Lead and manage a regional team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with

strategic sales objectives.


• Develop and implement an enterprise-focused sales strategy that is aligned with the

overall company goals.


• Guide and mentor the team to achieve high levels of performance, continuously

assessing team structure and individual performance.

Customer & Relationship Management:


• Build and nurture strong relationships with C-suite executives, business decision makers, and senior leaders in target enterprise accounts.


• Strategize and ensure customer success by aligning product capabilities with

customer needs, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.


• Foster opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, leveraging current solutions and

product capabilities to expand accounts.

Sales Execution & Demand Generation:


• Drive end-to-end sales motions for large enterprise deals, from lead generation to

closing, maintaining a strong sales pipeline.


• Build demand generation strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, driving

regional events, webinars, and workshops.


• Ensure alignment between sales activities and demand generation efforts, creating a

seamless and effective go-to-market plan.


• Drive high-value, multi-product SaaS platform sales to enterprise clients in key

sectors.

Channel & Partner Alliances:


• Collaborate with local channel partners and strategic alliances to accelerate the go to-market strategy and expand reach within the region.


• Establish and manage partner relationships, ensuring alignment with overall sales

strategies and identifying opportunities for joint sales success.


• Leverage partnerships to increase market penetration and drive growth in key

regions.

Required Qualifications
:


• 15+ years in enterprise sales with proven success in managing large B2B SaaS deals

and building strong relationships with C-suite executives.


• Experience in managing large, multi-million-dollar technology architecture deals and

large-scale enterprise transformations.


• Strong network in the Australia/APAC region with a deep understanding of local

business practices and cultural nuances


• Experience in leading and scaling high-performing sales teams within the region, with

a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.


• Solid understanding of SaaS products, platforms, and sales cycles, with an ability to

articulate value propositions and differentiate solutions in complex enterprise

environments.


• Ability to craft and execute sales strategies while driving a high level of customer

value and satisfaction.


• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and partner teams

to achieve business goals.


• Willingness to travel across the region regularly to meet clients, partners, and attend

key events.
