Local business seeking Finance Manager. The applicant will hold qualifications relevant to the role including a diploma level certification in finance, accounting, business or higher and have proven acumen in corporate financial management practices. The applicant will have a strong focus on systems improvement and a willingness to work in a fast paced challenging environment. The applicant will have a genuine love for people and uphold the companies belief that the people come first. This role will report directly to the Business Manager, reporting upline to the General Manager. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements monthly
  • Prepare and lodge Payroll Tax monthly
  • Prepare and lodge PAYG Tax Withheld on Wages weekly
  • Prepare and lodge WorkCover declarations annually
  • Prepare and present Monthly budgeting tools across the businesses multiple divisions incorporating use of the EBITDA metric (equity before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) – presenting to the Business Manager and General Manager
  • Prepare Quarterly Superannuation for payment
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable including prompt reporting and professional follow up of overdue accounts
  • Oversee Accounts Payable including analysis and weekly report of top creditors, and prompt payment of all creditors
  • Oversee Invoicing to ensure prompt issuance of invoices in order to maintain positive cashflow, including monitor and report on monthly Cashflow to Business Manager/ General Manager
  • Oversee Payroll exhibiting a thorough understanding of the Horticultural Award, reporting to Business Manager/ General Manager and external stakeholders (auditing bodies) as required
