MPI has been engaged to provide a Pastoral Hand for our client located in the Eastern Goldfields region of WA. This role is offered on a 2/1 roster and is a three-month contract only, rate on offer is $50 p/h.

The primary responsibilities will include bore running, fencing and general labouring duties such as cooking, gardening, operating and maintaining equipment. You will report directly to the Station Manager and Environment Superintendent.

To be considered you must have the following:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role on a remote location
  • Valid Australian unrestricted driver's licence (Manual C class)
  • MC drivers' licence and Heavy Machinery competence (desirable)
  • Understanding of animal welfare requirements
  • National police clearance within 6 months
  • Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Be able to provide a minimum of two contactable referees, relevant to your experience.

Unfortunately, we are only able to consider people with appropriate and relevant experience, and who are either Australian Permanent Residents or have the necessary permits to work in Australia.
