About the role
Our Western District team is seeking a passionate and motivated Employment Consultant to deliver tailored employment services under the new Inclusive Employment Assistance (IEA) program. Based in our Hamilton office this role involves working closely with participant and employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes and promote inclusive workplaces.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a caseload of participants, you will build rapport and trust with each person and work to create a plan that will see them achieving their employment goals. This will entail:
• Delivering pre-employment supports (job search, resume help, interview help)
• Addressing vocational and non-vocational barriers to build work readiness
• Build strong relationships with local employers and broker job opportunities
• Providing ongoing support to help clients maintain long-term employment
• Conducting assessments and develop personalised job plans
• Maintaining compliance and accurate documentation
What You'll Bring
• Experience in employment services, disability, community services, or related field
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong knowledge of vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment and strategies to address them
• Ability to motivate and support people with diverse needs
• Qualifications in a related area (or working towards) would be highly regarded
A National Police Check and Working with Childrens Check are manditory before commencing in this role.
You will also need to have a current drivers licence and hold a myGovID.

The total value of the package on offer is equivalent to $95,820
