Majestic Young Plants is a propagation nursery and horticultural company, supplying wholesale markets both in Australia and internationally with high quality plant material.

We are located in Healesville, Victoria. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced horticulturists to assist us with plant propagation and grading.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Plant selection and grading
  • Sticking cuttings and tissue cultures
  • Taking vegetative cuttings
  • Monitoring propagated plants
  • Keeping records of propagation
  • Preparing media
  • Grading for Dispatch
  • Administering appropriate controls for plant health and hygiene
  • Quality control
  • Appropriate handling of propagation material
  • General cleaning duties

Requirements-

  • Literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience in a nursery setting
  • Knowledge of propagation techniques
  • Be able to use production scheduling system to manage stock movement
  • Understanding of quality standards and grading proficiency
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Nursery production machinery experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
