Are you a Certificate III or Diploma qualified educator looking to work in for an organisation that supports you to do what you love to do most– support children and their families? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

As an educator you'll work as part of a small team of early childhood professionals to deliver SDN's innovative, high quality and inclusive program for children, while building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families, and delivering the support of the SDN village to their lives.

About you

You will be a Certificate or Diploma qualified educator with a special interest in diversity and inclusion, a passion for inclusive early childhood practice and a willingness to grow and learn.

About the role

Your role will involve collaborating with children about their interests and supporting them by creating a stimulating environment. As well as supporting the physical needs of children, you will assist in the observation and evaluation of the children's development, creating an environment which ensures trust and security and provides flexible routines and smooth transitions.

You will need

  • Experience in a similar role
  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standards
  • Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid qualification
  • Sound understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene and nutritional needs
