Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Allied Health Assistants to join our Community Therapy Services (CTS) team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Community Hospital, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
An exciting part-time opportunity exists for an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our team at Northern Health.
This role requires an AHA who is passionate about providing high quality person-centred care. Working with both Occupational and Physiotherapists within the Community Therapy Services (CTS) at Craigieburn Community Hospital, you will deliver individual and group-based therapy through the application of competent clinical treatment skills.
This is a fixed term role (until February 2026), working 45.6 hours per fortnight.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate IV AHA Qualifications (or equivalent)
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Demonstrated initiative with strong effective communication skills
