French Teacher

St Leonard's College is seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our College community on a full time, fixed term basis for Term 1 and Term 2 in 2026.

Reporting to the Head of Learning – Languages, the role will be responsible for teaching French subjects, across Years 7 to 9, in a collaborative and progressive environment.

To be successful in this opportunity you will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in Education.
• Current VIT Registration.
• A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (French).
• Experience in teaching VCE and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) (preferred but not essential).
• Previous experience teaching within an Independent School setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
• Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
• Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
• Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
