Animal Wellness is seeking a caring and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our unique, holistic practice in East Brisbane. We combine high-quality conventional veterinary care with dentistry, acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and other integrative therapies. If you're looking to work somewhere a little different – where your input is valued, and animals are treated as whole beings – we'd love to meet you

About the Role:

  • Start as a casual nurse, with the opportunity to move into part-time or full-time
  • Assist with consultations, surgery, dentistry, and holistic treatments
  • Deliver excellent patient and client care in a calm, supportive environment
  • Work alongside a compassionate vet and a strong nursing team
  • Learn and grow in a clinic that values holistic thinking and hands-on nursing

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Is confident with surgical and hospital nursing, including anaesthesia monitoring
  • Has strong communication skills for reception and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Is available to work 9 am to 1 pm for one Saturday of the month when required
  • Is open to learning about integrative/holistic therapies and animal massage, with training provided
  • Experience with veterinary practice management software: IDEXX Neo
  • Cares deeply about animals and providing gentle, thorough care
  • Has the right to work in Australia
  • Possibly open to stepping into a management role for the practice
