Are you a passionate fire engineer ready to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation in building safety? ABK Fire Engineering is expanding our team and seeking a talented Senior Fire Engineer to join us as we continue to grow and be involved in more and more iconic projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering fire engineering design process for commercial, residential, and civic projects.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments, modeling, and simulations using advanced tools like CFD and FDS.
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and clients to integrate fire safety strategies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
  • Ensure adherence to Australian standards (e.g., NCC, AS 1668) and international best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in fire engineering, with proven expertise in performance-based design.
  • Chartered Engineer status (CPEng) or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fire dynamics, evacuation modelling, and building fire safety systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
