An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The successful applicant will ideally maintain exposure to the manufacturing sector, possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and can confidently work under minimal guidance

The Role

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive department, ensuring that service, supply and outcomes are achieved in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.

A demonstrated warehousing background and systems control is critical to this role, as is the ability to effectively support the Warehouse & Distribution Manager in developing and improving warehouse procedures and operational results.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring safe work practices are maintained and developed.
  • Carry out warehouse operations in an effective manner
  • Operate forklifts, manage material movements and unload trucks.
  • Control receipts, issue and storage of goods
  • Manage daily workflows and smooth efficient warehouse operations
  • Take ownership of cyclic / rolling stock-takes
  • Liaise with Manufacturing Departments to ensure timely and accurate transfers
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are followed and KPI's are achieved.
  • Provide input into the continuous development of systems & procedures

The Individual:

  • Proven distribution and warehouse experience
  • Possesses a strong output and "Hands-On" work ethic
  • Has good organisational skills, an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to train and help develop others
  • Excellent customer service approach with outstanding communication skills
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Forklift License
  • A flexible, "can do" attitude.
