Boilermaker

Steelrod Pty Ltd is a steel manufacturing business, leading specialist engineering supplier to rail authorities throughout Australasia.  Located at Narangba, a proudly Australian owned, family operated manufacturing company with a reputation based on experience, quality and professionalism.

We are looking for a qualified boilermaker to assist in the department that specializes in point rodding for the railways. Your skills will be used to work on safety critical components meeting customer drawing specifications. Onsite training will be provided as required.

The position advertised is for an enthusiastic and energetic person who would like to join a large workshop with excellent working facilities. Full time position with six months' probation.

The successful candidate will have experience in or demonstrate the capability to perform the following key responsibilities:

• Trade Certificate
• High attention to detail
• Adhere to company policies and reporting structure
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Follow instructions from Management and Team Leaders
• Strong Quality Control measures
• Excellent people and communication skills
• High level of self-motivation

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 7am to 3.45pm and Friday 7am to 1:30pm.  Overtime may be required.
