About the role

Are you a hardworking and reliable individual looking to join a growing recycling and waste management company? Ecocycle Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Factory/Yard Hand to join our team in St Marys NSW 2760. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our operations and contributing to the success of our recycling and distribution business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment in our factory and yard

  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment

  • Performing general labouring tasks such as sorting, packing and transporting recyclable materials

  • Adhering to all safety procedures and environmental regulations

  • Supporting the wider team in various ad-hoc duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Experience working in a factory, warehouse or logistics environment

  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work space

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges

  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to pass a background check
