The Role:

We are welcoming experienced candidates for the Chef de Partie position to thrive across all the sections.

The Criteria:

• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stock ordering, and menu development - incorporating seasonal fresh local produce.
• Have a passion for creating delicious, expertly prepared, cooked, and presented food.
• Keep an organized kitchen and uphold a food safety program to assist in maintaining the kitchen, food, and hygiene standards.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the restaurant's concepts and menus.
• Leading by example in the back of house
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

The Skills:

• Hold relevant qualifications
• At least a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
• Demonstrate motivation, commitment, and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with a growth mindset to continually learn and improve.
• Thrive in a high-volume and high-pressure environment.
• Creative flair, passion, and strong knowledge of food production
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• WHS, Food Safety and HACCP knowledge
• Previous experience in Gastro Pub style venue will be highly regarded.
