Our Client is a leading car parts provider to the insurance and automotive industries in Australia. They are looking for an experienced and skilled Warehouse Store-person to join their team in Croydon Park, Sydney on a Permanent full time basis.

About The Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be working as part of the warehousing team to deliver customer driven outcomes including inwards and outwards goods operations.

This role offers variety across a range of tasks and functions and presents a real opportunity to gain more skills and add value to the warehouse operations. Career opportunities within the business are a real option for the right people.   

What will keep you busy

Your days at work will vary with the Warehouse team responsible for all operations in and around the warehouse including: 

  • Unloading containers
  • Receiving & dispatching stock
  • Picking and packing orders including RF Scanning
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse including stock replenishment
  • Ensuring the Warehouse plant and equipment is kept in good, safe, working order
  • Working with the team to deliver for our customers.

We are looking for experienced Warehouse Store-persons with:

  • 2 years or more experience in a logistics / warehouse role
  • A good track record of regular and long term employment
  • Pick Packing, including RF Scanning skills and experience
  • Despatch procedures and operations experience
  • Current forklift licence not essential though preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Drivers licence and own transport preferred

You will be comfortable in a warehouse setting, be passionate about customer service, have a work safety focus, and be prepared to get stuck in to get the job done.
