Are you looking to build your career in financial services with a global organisation that values growth, collaboration and learning? MUFG Pension & Market Services is seeking a Trustee Officer to join our Sydney-based Trustee Services team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a genuine interest in finance or trust administration to take the next step in their career.
About the Role
As a Trustee Officer, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day administrative operations of our Trustee Services team. Working closely with the Head of Trustee Services, you'll help ensure the smooth running of our trust, custody, and escrow arrangements, providing accurate and timely support to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with expense reporting and trust trial balance preparation
- Supporting trust asset transfers, payments, and reconciliations
- Coordinating trust account set-ups and maintaining accurate records
- Managing client correspondence and action logs
- Assisting with audits, compliance reporting, and general administration
This role provides a solid foundation for developing your career in financial services and offers hands-on experience across a range of trustee and custody activities.
About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, well-organised, and enjoys working with numbers and detail. You'll bring:
- A background or studies in accounting, finance, or a related field (desired)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively within a team
