A-Grade Electrician

The Role
This A-Grade Electrician will play a pivotal role in the Electrical and Renewable Offering division (Searo) of Symal Group

Your Impact
You will drive electrical solutions and support the project delivery team for key Searo projects, including high voltage systems and renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar farms.

Your Every Day

• Set up solar panels, wind turbines, battery storage systems, and associated electrical components.
• Ensure systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and Australian standards.
• Perform electrical testing to verify system performance and safety.
• Commission systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of renewable energy systems.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes (e.g., AS/NZS 3000) and safety regulations.
• Maintain documentation for audits and inspections, including grid connection approvals.

Who Are You

• Experience managing multi trade projects
• Experience with implementing HSEQ systems onsite and ensuring compliance with all internal and external personnel onsite.
• Clear communication skills to be able to coordinate site works with various stakeholders.
• Has to be a qualified electrician with experience across various sectors such as: Experience with Solar, BESS , EV charging, general electrical & HV.
• Good knowledge of AS3000 and SIR's.
