Ipswich State High School is seeking enthusiastic Casual Teacher Aides for the remainder of 2025 and to build our casual pool for 2026. No formal qualifications are required – just a positive attitude, a willingness to support students, and a passion for helping young people succeed.

You'll be supporting teachers and students in a range of classroom activities – working one-on-one, in small groups, or with whole classes. Every day will bring something new as you help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You may also assist with classroom organisation, administrative tasks, and general support duties around the school.

We're looking for reliable, caring people who enjoy working with young people and being part of a team. If you're flexible, a good communicator, and have a genuine interest in education, we'd love to hear from you.

No formal qualifications are required for entry-level casual teacher aide work. A Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and Criminal History Check are required as part of the recruitment process. Education Queensland will pay for the Criminal History Check, and you can pre-emptively apply for a Paid Blue Card to be work ready.
