Are you passionate about working with school-aged children in a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment? Tamworth Regional Council are currently seeking expressions of interest for two exciting opportunities within our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service:

OSHC Educational Team Leader (Part-Time)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced leader with a strong background in childcare or OSHC. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our high-quality care program and supporting a team of Educators to ensure a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring Educators to implement the program and service philosophy.
  • Ensuring the program reflects diversity, inclusion, and the needs of all children.
  • Building strong relationships with families and the wider community.
  • Upholding professional and ethical standards at all times.

OSHC Educators (Part-Time or Casual)

We are also seeking dedicated Educators who are passionate about working directly with children in a fun, engaging, and caring environment. This role is perfect for those who enjoy planning and delivering meaningful activities and fostering positive relationships with children and families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Supporting children's wellbeing and inclusion within the program.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe, positive environment.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Certificate IV in Out of School Hours Care or Diploma in Children's Services (Team Leader)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Identify and Respond to Children at Risk of Harm
  • Drivers Licence
  • HLTAID004 Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education & Care Setting

Salary range: Grade $ $42.21 per hour plus super and other allowances.  Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
