The Location

Situated in Banora Point, the Darlington retirement living community offers contemporary villas and a coastal lifestyle close to beaches, national park, shops and clubs.

The Role

As a Personal Care Worker you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.

This is a night duty position. Shifts will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Flexibility to cover additional leave shifts highly desirable.  

Please note initial day shifts will be required for orientation. Day shifts may also be required for occasional training days.

  • To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
  • Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
  • Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
  • Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
  • Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual support
  • Experience in aged care role 
  • Night shift availability
  • Flexibility to cover additional leave shifts (highly desirable)
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain)
