About the business
HealthPoint Mingara Pty Ltd is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and experienced registered psychologists and clinical psychologists to join our team of multidisciplinary health professionals commencing in October 2025. We have a wide variety of adolescence and adult health clinicians including Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Remedial Massage, Acupuncture, Cosmetics and Visiting Specialists, all in the one facility. Our passion is to serve community on the Central Coast within a multidisciplinary private medical practice approach. We aim to assist individuals across all stages of their adult life, ensuring optimal physical and mental health for our clients, their broader family systems and positive participation within the community.
About the role
You will be required to:
- Provide independent initial assessment and formulation of a variety of mental health issues, through utilising clinical observations and clinical interviewing techniques, screening tools, standardised assessments and psychometrics.
- Plan subsequent treatment and interventions relevant to the client presentation.
- Deliver appropriate evidence-based intervention and assessment (where necessary) across a broad range of mental health presentations.
- Liaise with other health professionals who are involved, and as appropriate in relation to client ongoing care (i.e., general practitioners, psychiatry, etc.).
- Where appropriate, collaborate with other psychology and inter-disciplinary team members to develop new programs as identified to meet client and community needs and best practice.

Skills and experience
Essential Criteria:
- Experience providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention for older adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist (and/or with relevant practice endorsement – i.e., clinical psychologist, educational and developmental psychologist).
- Personal Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance.
- Current APS membership.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Registered as a Medicare Provider.
- Ongoing commitment to CPD and supervision activities as stipulated by AHPRA annual registration requirements.
Desirable Criteria
- SIRA registered - WorkCover
