Healthscope Independence Services works to help people living with a disability to get the most out of life. For 28 years we have offered community and in-house support in a number of states around Australia promoting a person centred approach to support. We are a passionate team who work with people with disabilities to support them to become independent and live the lives they want to live.

We're seeking Disability Services Workers in the South Eastern Suburbs to provide support for our clients.

What your role will look like

No two days are the same As a Disability Support Worker you will provide person-centred care to support our complex clients with various aspects of their daily living. Passionate employees experience varied duties, you might provide personal care or help with medication, shopping, or cooking. Most importantly, you'll be supporting clients to achieve goals that matter to them. We are looking for employees who enjoy a varied workplace and want to grow and build a valuable skillset.

To be successful in this role

  • You will demonstrate a passion for working with disabilities, both mental and physical
  • Enjoy a challenge and celebrate the little things
  • Demonstrate empathy and caring attitude
  • Hold a valid NDIS check, CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Relevant qualifications are favourable, but we will train the right candidate within house.
