This role is an identified role under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.

Eligibility Requirements:
This program is an equal opportunity measure under section 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, aimed at improving the representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. To apply, you must:
- Be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Identify as First Nations and be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent or accepted by the community in which you live.

- Appointments are subject to criminal history checks in accordance with section 52 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
- Prior to appointment, current and previous public sector employees are required to disclose any history of serious disciplinary action in accordance with section 71 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
- All employees are required to disclose any interest/s that conflict, may conflict or may be perceived to conflict with the discharge of their duties in accordance with sections 89, 182 and 183 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
