About the role

Join the tea farming team at Tea Extracts Australia Pty Ltd as a casual Farm Worker based in Malanda, QLD. You will be an integral part of the operations, helping to ensure the ongoing productivity and quality of the tea plantation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist with the planting, maintenance and harvesting of tea crops
  2. Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
  3. Perform general farm duties such as weeding, watering and pest control
  4. Ensure the farm adheres to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  5. Support the tea production process as needed
  6. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience working in a similar farming or agricultural role
  2. Familiarity with operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
  3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  5. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of farm work
  6. Passion for sustainable agriculture and a desire to contribute to the tea industry
