My Spectrum Services is seeking someone who can support our Allied Health team, working within the Mental Health and Disability sector.

My Spectrum Services is an individual and family services company based in the Central Queensland region. Specialising in working with individuals living with mental health and/or disability concerns, My Spectrum Services is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to those in need.

Role Description

This is an on-site role located in Gladstone, QLD, for an Allied Health Assistant. The Allied Health Assistant will support the team of Allied Health professionals by assisting with the implementation of treatment plans, helping customers with daily living activities, organising and maintaining therapy equipment, and documenting progress. They will work closely with customers and or their family to promote well-being and improve their quality of life.

Depending on experience and qualifications, you may be required to work within our head office, people's homes, education settings, and our farm site.

  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to customer needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum, you have completed or are working towards a Cert 4 in Allied Health Assistance (or similar)
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication Skills
  • Excellent Organisation Skills
  • Driver's license
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or disability concerns is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and administrative tasks
  • Be willing to complete, or already have completed, First Aid and CPR, NDIS worker screenings and application for appropriate clearances.

You will be fully supported by a multi-disciplinary team (Social Workers, Behaviour Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, etc), have paid birthday leave and access to the Yaralla Lifestyle initiative. Hours and salary will be dependent on experience.
