About the role
Surco Restorations is seeking a motivated and experienced Restoration Claims Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of insurance claims and restoration projects. In this role, you'll act as the central point of communication between insurers, assessors, internal teams, and property owners—ensuring each claim is handled efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional customer service from first attendance through to completion.
You'll oversee scheduling, workflow coordination, and compliance to guarantee projects are delivered on time and in line with insurer expectations and industry standards.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate restoration insurance claims across multiple categories, including water, fire, mould, storm, flood, and make safes.
- Liaise professionally with insurers, loss adjusters, assessors, and policyholders throughout the claim process.
- Schedule and coordinate restoration and make safe technicians across South East Queensland.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards, scopes of work, and insurer SLAs/KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job records within Prime Ecosystem and insurer management portals.
- Review inspection reports, scopes, assessments, and variations for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee project timelines, materials, progress updates, and key claim milestones.
- Address and resolve client concerns proactively while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Support the accuracy and completeness of documentation for insurance compliance
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in restoration, insurance building, or claims management (preferred).
- Solid understanding of water, flood, fire, and mould restoration processes.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance claim procedures and reporting expectations.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Proficient with job management software's.
