The Client
Your Cleaning Professionals is an Australian owned enterprise that provide a range of cleaning services for domestic, commercial and industrial customers across Australia.
They now seek an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join their team in Keysborough VIC.
The Role
The position for hire is an ICT Business Analyst and will be for a full-time basis between $77,000 to $89,000 depending on experience, plus superannuation per annum, and will be based at their Keysborough office.
The Responsibilities
- identifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices
- identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour
- continually surveying the current computer site to determine future network needs and
- making recommendations for enhancements in the implementation of future servers and networks
- Working with users to formulate and document business requirements
- using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects
- performing the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls
- implementing and administering database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures for users
- accepting responsibility for the processes, procedures and operational management associated with system security and disaster recovery planning
- troubleshooting and providing service support in diagnosing, resolving and repairing server- related hardware and software malfunctions, encompassing workstations and communication infrastructure
- preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
- taking responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and
- implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
- creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes
- developing functional specifications for use by system developers
- using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software
- acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process
- Utilize data and process modelling techniques to produce clear system design specifications.
- Serve as a key point of reference, offering expert advice and support throughout the system development lifecycle and decision-making process.
The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the facilities management sector
- At least 2 years' experience in analysing and documenting business and system requirements within facilities management
- At least 2 years' experience liaising with cross-functional teams including IT, product and compliance
- At least 2 years' experience conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design aligned with compliance and regulatory requirements
- At least 2 years' experience using business analysis tools and methodologies such as BPMN, UML, SQL queries, and Agile frameworks (Scrum)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyse data, trends, and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of ICT infrastructure, software development life cycle, and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with databases, network systems, and software applications.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
