The Clinic Assistant supports patient workflow across all clinic modalities, with a primary focus on Xray. In this role, you will work alongside technical staff, Radiologists, and the Administration team to ensure seamless operations.

Duties of the position will include but are not limited to:

  • Analyse request forms and assist technical staff including but not limited to, room preparation, clean up and post procedure processes such as documentation and collation
  • Ensure appropriate patient identification and safety screening in conjunction with technical staff
  • Prepare equipment and patients for imaging examinations, including patient positioning using appropriate and safe manual handling techniques
  • Provide support to ensure procedures/examinations undertaken are accurately reflected in patient billing/invoice as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently studying Medical Radiation Science Undergraduate degree
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Ability to interact professionally with patients and within a multidisciplinary team
  • High level problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Valid CPR certificate (desirable)
  • Manual Handling training (desirable)
