The Company

Based on the southside of Brisbane this organisation is a well known and respected electrical contractor and systems integrator. They work with key clients to deliver high quality electrical and control system projects and services throughout Qld and northern NSW, from concept and design through to installation, commissioning and maintenance.

The Position

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide technical and engineering expertise across a diverse range of projects. Your daily tasks will include functional design specifications, control narratives, programming, implementation, troubleshooting and fault finding complex control systems.

Duties:

  • Develop and design control system solutions.
  • Ensure compliance to Australian standards and company certifications.
  • Complete systems integration tasks including configuration and implementation.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, be willing to mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in PLC, SCADA & HMI technology, especially in programming.
  • Engineering degree or Advanced Diploma.
  • Sound technical knowledge such as Allen Bradley, RSLogix, Studio 5000, Citect, Factory Talk.
  • Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting both remotely and on-site.
  • Strong communication skills and team focus.
