East Coast Lubes distribute Mobil branded lubricants to clients throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory in Australia, the Solomon Islands and East Timor. As an authorised distributor of Mobil lubricants in these areas, ECL have established a diverse client base, and have offices and warehouse facilities in key locations to distribute Mobil lubricants and complementary products to customers throughout the entire region.

We currently have an opportunity within our Brisbane depot for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Store Person, looking to further their career with a progressive company.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will suit an individual who is physically fit and highly motivated, pays attention to detail and enjoys contributing to a team environment.

To be considered for this role you must have a positive outlook. You will have a flexible attitude, be team orientated, strive for excellence when dealing with customers, and have a good eye for detail.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Order picking and packing
  • Drive a LF forklift
  • Package and bulk deliveries to customers
  • Pallet wrapping and strapping
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Unloading and loading containers
  • Stock counts
  • Clerical duties such as completing consignment documentation
  • General warehouse housekeeping - maintaining a tidy workplace etc

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Have a current LF forklift licence
  • HR truck licence ( preferred but not essential)
  • Have experience working in a warehouse
  • Be physically fit and highly motivated
  • Be willing to work within, and be part of a friendly and productive team
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to obtain a MSIC card
  • Must have Australian work rights

This is a full-time role. Flexible working hours are 5am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, and will be negotiated with the Operations Manager based on business requirements.
