We are seeking a skilled cook / chef to prepare delicious meals according to our menu. We are a busy café serving up delicious modern Australian fare, and need an experienced cook to join our team. We have positions available at North Rocks, Kings Park and Moorebank locations.

You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with its taste and timely delivery. You must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. You must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our customer base.

Applicants must possess:

  • Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
  • Kitchen maintenance, cleaning and keeping an orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
  • Menu planning
  • Following food safety requirements

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in a fast and busy environment
  • Have passion for producing great food & attention to detail
  • Be a team player and a good communicator
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Be available Mon – Fri, 6:00am – 3:00pm, in some cases a few Saturdays per month.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
