As we continue to grow nationwide, we're looking for a driven Customer Account Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on customer relationship role focused on managing key accounts, building strong partnerships, and delivering exceptional service. You'll work closely with procurement teams, site personnel and decision-makers to ensure our customers receive the right products, at the right time, every time.

You'll be managing a portfolio of active accounts while also helping drive growth through proactive engagement, quoting, and problem-solving. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, autonomy, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customer accounts
  • Build strong relationships through regular communication and follow-up
  • Prepare quotes, order acknowledgements and product recommendations
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate lead times and pricing
  • Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell and increased share of wallet
  • Respond to customer enquiries with speed, accuracy and professionalism
  • Monitor customer spend, trends and activity to drive proactive service
  • Handle order issues, delivery updates and any escalations
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM/Odoo system
  • Support internal process improvements as the business continues to scale
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in account management, sales support or customer service (industrial sector preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Proactive mindset — always looking for ways to improve service
  • Comfortable with quoting, pricing, and basic margin understanding
  • Experience with Odoo, Pronto, Netsuite, MYOB or similar systems (preferred but not essential)
