Gaming Manager – Sonnel Hospitality

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of gaming operations including poker machines, TAB, and Keno, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
  • Lead and mentor gaming staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming, responsible gaming environment
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliations, and reporting with precision and integrity
  • Monitor and respond to gaming performance metrics, promotions, and customer engagement strategies
  • Ensure all gaming areas are clean, secure, and operating efficiently
  • Collaborate with venue management to drive overall business performance

What You'll Bring

  • Current RSA, RCG & ARCG Competency Cards (essential)
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a gaming leadership role within a high-volume venue
  • Strong understanding of compliance, licensing, and harm minimisation practices
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and support your team
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences
