Responsibilities of this role
- Carry out refuelling, shift servicing, and scheduled servicing of maintenance and plant & equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist trades people in the washing, servicing, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and associated components as directed
- Provide support to other trades for general maintenance activities where required
- List, record and report any damages identified during servicing
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
- Be committed to adhering to and promoting a strong safety culture
Requirements for this role include
- Previous experience as a Service Person within the mining industry or Light Vehicle / Diesel Fitter Trade qualification with experience working on civil or agricultural equipment
- RIISAM212D - Service mine plant and equipment
- Current HR Drivers Licence
- RIIVEH307 - Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle VOC highly desirable
- RIIVEH306 - Operate a Mine Service Vehicle VOC highly desirable
