About the Role:

We are seeking a Service Person to join our team at the Nambour branch. This role involves ensuring our tools and equipment are in excellent condition, ready for hire. The successful candidate will perform pre-hire inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of equipment, from small tools to larger machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-hire checks, ensuring all tools and equipment meet safety and operational standards.

  • Service, repair, and maintain a diverse range of equipment, including:

  • Small electrical tools (e.g., grinders, vacuums, chain saws)

  • Petrol-powered equipment (e.g., generators)
  • Earthmoving machinery (e.g., Dingo Mini Loaders, 1.7T Kubota Excavators)
  • Access equipment (e.g., scissor lifts, cherry pickers)
  • Diagnose faults and carry out efficient, high-quality repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs using our internal systems.
  • Ensure all tools and machinery are cleaned, serviced, and ready for use.

Skills and Experience:

  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Previous experience with earthmoving equipment, power tools, or similar machinery is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A forklift license is an advantage but not essential.
