About the role
We have an opportunity for a General Administrative Support Officer to be part of our Riverina Police District. The General Administrative Support Officer provides the delivery of efficient and effective general administration, clerical support, and receptionist services with a focus on quality services to commands/business units.
The Wagga Wagga Police Station is a fast-paced busy environment suitable to applicants who have the ability to manage difficult and complex inquiries in a professional manner with sensitivity and discretion.
The successful applicant will have a variety of tasks within the Wagga Wagga Police Station and Riverina Police District Administration office including but not limited to internal and external customer service via phone or face to face and varied administrative duties.
The successful applicant will be required to work on a roster and due to operational requirements there may be the opportunity for additional hours however this is not a guarantee.

Please give a demonstrated example of how you have dealt with a complex customer service issue that you have had to resolved under pressure. How did you approach the issue, what steps did you take to address the customers needs and what was the outcome?

This role requires demonstrated experience in administration systems and processes, records management and computer based applications. Please provide an example of how you have delivered accurate and timely results to complete your daily work commitments as a member of a team.
