Durock Drilling is a proudly Australian-owned exploration drilling company based in Dubbo, NSW. We specialise in Reverse Circulation (RC), Air Core, and Diamond Drilling, servicing projects across Australia. With a strong focus on safety, quality results, and no-nonsense teamwork, we're building a crew of reliable professionals who take pride in what they do.

The Opportunity

We're looking for experienced Multi-Purpose Exploration Drillers and Driller's Assistants to join our growing team. Whether you're a seasoned driller or looking to step up in the industry, this is your chance to work with a respected company that values skill, attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Positions are casual to start with competitive rates, and the potential to transition to full-time.

What We're Looking For


• A current HR Licence (minimum)


• A valid National Police Check (within 3 months)


• First Aid certification


• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening


• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in remote locations


• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team


• Good communication skills and a safety-first attitude


• Previous drilling experience (highly regarded, but not essential for offsiders)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Driller or Driller's Offsider, your tasks may include:


• Conducting pre-start checks and rig inspections


• Assisting with drill rig setup, operations, and daily maintenance


• Monitoring sampling processes and maintaining hole integrity


• Keeping equipment and work areas clean and safe


• Supporting your team and communicating effectively on site


• For experienced drillers: overseeing crew performance and mentoring assistants
