Partnering with retail clients globally, Scalene provides software solutions and services that maximise the performance of retail spaces. Through our unique Retail Space Intelligence capability, our platform and tools equip clients with a new level of insight, enabling informed, customer-centric decisions that generate improved business performance. Our solutions span core retail functions including Assortment, Pricing and Promotions and strategic Space Planning and Optimisation.

Kickstart Your Consulting Career with Scalene

We're looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals (up to 3 years of consulting experience) who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact. At Scalene, you'll work alongside an experienced team to help leading retailers solve complex problems while developing your own skills and career path.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to client projects, ensuring objectives are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Turn data into insights by conducting analysis and creating clear, compelling documents for a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Build trust and rapport with client teams to foster long-term relationships.
  • Help identify opportunities with potential to drive value both for our clients and Scalene going forward
  • Support initiatives that drive Scalene's internal product development agenda.
  • Collaborate with product teams by sharing client insights and contributing to product and service enhancements.
  • Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement in project outcomes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams of consultants, analysts to deliver client projects effectively

What you'll bring:

  • A recent degree and up to 3 years' experience in consulting, customer success, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in project teams and developing client relationships.
  • Advanced Power BI skills (or similar tools) including expertise in complex data modelling, DAX, custom visualisations, and the ability to design and deploy interactive dashboards that drive business insights.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Exposure to the retail environment and a keen interest in understanding its challenges.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver results.
