About the Role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Contract Administrator to join their Melbourne team, working on a portfolio of tertiary education projects. Reporting to a Senior Contract Administrator or Project Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to completion.

The role will involve managing subcontractor packages, administering contracts, overseeing cost control and variations, and supporting the broader project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Contract Administrator role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated local construction experience, ideally on commercial or institutional projects
  • Experience administering subcontractor agreements, progress claims, variations, and cost reporting
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team
  • Experience on tertiary education or similarly complex, live-environment projects will be highly regarded.
