Full Stack Developer – Legacy Modernization & Cloud-Ready Applications

We're looking for a versatile and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team in Sydney and help modernize legacy systems, containerize applications, and drive cloud-native development. If you thrive in transforming outdated codebases into scalable, secure, and CI/CD-ready solutions, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Modernizing legacy applications, including:
  • Upgrading PHP 5 to PHP 8 (Zend framework)
  • Migrating Rails 4 to Rails 8
  • Transitioning Java 8 to Java 17/21 with Spring 2.5 to 4
  • Containerizing applications and working with containerized environments
  • Developing and maintaining full stack applications using:
  • PHP, Java, .NET, React, and Ruby
  • Enhancing application compatibility with CI/CD pipelines
  • Working across cloud environments to deploy and scale applications
  • Implementing and maintaining automated testing using Playwright or Selenium
  • Identifying and resolving OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities

What You Bring:

  • Proven full stack development experience across multiple languages and frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Docker or other container technologies
  • Strong understanding of legacy system modernization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Experience working in cloud-native or hybrid environments
  • Solid grasp of application security best practices
  • Passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement
