We're currently seeking Disability Support Workers who are passionate about making a real difference. In this role, you'll contribute to meaningful work that uplifts individuals and strengthens families across our community.

Behavioral Challenges Include:

  • Absconding & Property Damage
  • Physical & Verbal Aggression
  • Threats, Intimidation & Suicidal Ideation
  • Sexually Inappropriate Behavior (verbal and physical)
  • Sexually Explicit Dialogue, Fire Setting, Animal Cruelty
  • Homicidal Ideations, Severe Attachment Disorder
  • Antisocial, Destructive, and Trauma-Based Behavior
  • Drug Usage

Medical & Psychological Diagnoses:

  • ASD – Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • FASD – Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
  • RAD – Reactive Attachment Disorder
  • Trauma-Related Behavioral Disorder

About you:

  • Experienced in providing person-centred support to clients with complex conditions such as autism, intellectual disability, and epilepsy
  • Calm and assertive in high-stress environments
  • Experienced in de-escalating aggressive and sexualized behaviors
  • Able to mentor youth with attachment issues and trauma
  • Committed to clear boundaries, respectful communication, and safety
  • Physically fit and mentally resilient

Requirements:

  • Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
  • A valid Australian driver's license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Willingness to obtain a new National Police Check
