The team is expanding and looking for an experienced Sales Representative to support continued growth across Australia.
About the Role
As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients across commercial builders, architects, designers, distributors, and end-users. You'll work closely with internal technical, design, and operations teams to deliver tailored lighting solutions and ensure customers receive a seamless experience from first contact to project delivery.
You will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across assigned territories.
- Drive new business by identifying opportunities within the commercial and architectural sectors.
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and partners.
- Present lighting solutions, product demonstrations, and recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotes, proposals, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM activity.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
About You (Experience Required)
- 5+ years' experience in sales
, ideally within lighting, electrical, building materials, or a closely related technical product. - Strong track record of hitting sales targets and growing client portfolios.
- Experience partnering with architects, builders, designers, consultants, or contractors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand technical product information.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model, managing both field-based and office-based activity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with specification sales in the lighting or electrical industry.
- Technical understanding of lighting products, controls, or commercial fit-out solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies.
- Existing relationships within the design, construction, or architectural ecosystem.
