About the Company

A leading, well-established organisation in the lighting sector, known for delivering high-quality, innovative lighting solutions across commercial, industrial, and architectural projects. The team is expanding and looking for an experienced Sales Representative to support continued growth across Australia.

About the Role

As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients across commercial builders, architects, designers, distributors, and end-users. You'll work closely with internal technical, design, and operations teams to deliver tailored lighting solutions and ensure customers receive a seamless experience from first contact to project delivery.

You will:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across assigned territories.
  • Drive new business by identifying opportunities within the commercial and architectural sectors.
  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and partners.
  • Present lighting solutions, product demonstrations, and recommendations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotes, proposals, and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM activity.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

About You (Experience Required)

  • 5+ years' experience in sales
    , ideally within lighting, electrical, building materials, or a closely related technical product.
  • Strong track record of hitting sales targets and growing client portfolios.
  • Experience partnering with architects, builders, designers, consultants, or contractors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand technical product information.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model, managing both field-based and office-based activity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with specification sales in the lighting or electrical industry.
  • Technical understanding of lighting products, controls, or commercial fit-out solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies.
  • Existing relationships within the design, construction, or architectural ecosystem.
