Facility Manager | Residential Aged Care | Western Sydney (Near Parramatta)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Facility Manager to lead a well-established residential aged care home in Western Sydney, close to Parramatta. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, building strong teams, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for residents and their families.

As Facility Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance, financial performance, and staff engagement. This is a pivotal leadership position for someone who is both hands-on and strategic, with a genuine commitment to aged care excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & People Management: Inspire, develop, and support a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, person-centred care.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the effective running of the home, including staffing, compliance, resourcing, and resident satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Partner with senior leadership to manage budgets, monitor performance, and ensure operational sustainability.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain adherence to Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements, and WHS legislation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive service improvements across clinical care, operations, and resident engagement.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (or equivalent clinical qualification).
  • Proven experience managing residential aged care (minimum 3+ years).
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.
  • In-depth understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, funding models (e.g., AN-ACC), and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident leading change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Holds Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
