Vectiq is seeking an experienced
Enterprise Architect
to join a high-profile Federal Government program. This role will partner closely with service designers, business analysts, program architects, IT security, and senior stakeholders to shape technology solutions that meet complex business needs.

The successful candidate will bring strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to balance competing requirements while delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective enterprise solutions.

Clearance:
Currently holding an
NV1 or higher
Security Clearance
(Mandatory)

Contract:
10 months (to 30 June month extension

Start date:
Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with FAD, Indigo, and CIO Division teams to design fit-for-purpose, future-state architectures.
  • Define and maintain architectural principles, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Design innovative, secure, and scalable IT solutions that meet complex business needs.
  • Identify integration risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive success through strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks with experience managing IT change in complex environments.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise architecture in large ICT programs, aligned to business objectives.
  • Skilled at working with Program Managers, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders to balance competing requirements.
  • Experience with ITIL processes, IT governance, and delivering solutions within organisational constraints.

Desirable:

  • Experience producing innovative enterprise architectures for both current and future states.
  • Ability to translate effectively between business and technical teams.
