Sports Aid supplies Umpires & Referees, First Aid Responders, Sports Trainers, and Coaches to schools, clubs, associations, and corporate sport across Australia. Established in 2023, we prioritise sportsmanship, safety, and player development.

About the Role

We are seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team and deliver high-quality sessions for our client, Altona Magic Soccer Club.

  • Competition: Junior National Premier League (JNPL)
  • Age Groups: U13, U14, U15, U16, U18, U20, U23
  • When: Once per week on Tuesdays, 5:30 pm
  • Duration: 45–60 minute sessions
  • Start Date: First week of November 2025
  • Players: Approx. 30–35 athletes per session

This role is ideal for coaches with a passion for physical performance, athletic development, and working with youth to senior players in a professional football environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging strength & conditioning sessions tailored to JNPL players.
  • Focus on athletic development: mobility, agility, strength, speed, endurance, and injury prevention.
  • Work alongside the club's coaching staff to integrate S&C principles into soccer performance.
  • Monitor progress, provide feedback, and set individual and group training goals.
  • Promote player wellbeing, safe training practices, and positive team culture.

Payment

  • All coaching positions are paid.
  • Fortnightly payroll (Fridays).

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Strong knowledge of strength & conditioning principles for youth athletes.
  • Relevant S&C or coaching qualification desirable (e.g., ASCA, Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning certification).
  • Elite playing background also considered.
  • Excellent communication skills; reliable, professional, and child-safe aware.
  • First Aid certificate desirable.

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $50.00 – $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
