Transport & Plant Allocator

We're Robson Civil Projects - a well-established, local civil contractor with over 60 years of experience delivering quality projects.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport & Plant Allocator to join our busy Operations Team.

The Transport & Plant Allocator will be based at our Somersby office and provides administrative and coordination support to the Plant Manager to ensure the efficient allocation of trucks, plant and operators across Robson Civil Projects worksites.

The role is responsible for responding to project site requests, planning allocations, communicating with drivers and operators, and maintaining accurate records.

The experience you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in administration, scheduling, or logistics support (preferably in construction or transport)
  • Basic knowledge of civil construction plant and machinery, including task-specific capabilities - desirable
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, operators, and site personnel
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Heavy Vehicle National Law and CoR (Chain of Responsibility) requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Competent in basic computer systems and scheduling tools
