Tinman's Enterprises Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business working from Sarina. We work in the Mining area around the Mackay region to do Fabrication, Repairs, Mine Site Work & Shift Coverage and General Welding.

We currently have positions available seeking experienced, motivated and reliable Boilermakers to join our team.

About the Roles

Site Boilermaker - Monday to Friday Position

12hrs shifts with travel included in that for your first and last day. Preparing Road Train Trucks and Mobile Coal Handling Equipment. Assisting Fitters and Escorting Vehicles. Work Vehicle Supplied for this position.

Site Boilermaker - Fly In Fly Out Position from Brisbane

Heavy Earthmoving Boilermaker with a minimum 2 years' experience on earthmoving equipment a must. Be proactive and able to work unsupervised once given instructions. Flights and Accommodation from Brisbane to Site return are included. Brisbane locals encouraged to apply.

Workshop Boilermaker - Sarina

Fabricating of Light and Heavy Steel and Aluminium. Able to read and understand drawings. Be able to work unsupervised and be proactive around the workshop. Rate is to be negotiated on ability and performance. 3rd and 4th year apprentices welcome to apply.

  • Floating Field Maintenance Positions and also Rostered 5 on and 2 off position available.
  • Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabrication and Welding
  • Fabrication and Repairs on various types of Machinery including Farming, Mining and Construction
  • Local site work with varying shifts (day & night) will be required and Workshop.

The successful applicants MUST

  • Be trade qualified Boilermaker
  • Have Heavy and Light Fabrication Experience. Being able to Weld Aluminum favourable
  • Experience on working on Heavy Machinery
  • Pass in house weld test
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret workshop drawings.
  • Attention to detail & quality control, maintaining high production & quality standards
  • Be able to work unsupervised with the ability to follow directions provided by supervisors.

Documents Required

  • Trade Certificates or on their way to obtain.
  • Current Coal Board Medical or able to obtain
  • Driver's License (Front & Back)
  • Current Standard 11 or able to obtain
  • Police Check or able to obtain

The following competencies are deemed advantageous but not necessary

  • Fitting experience
  • Current Working at Heights
  • Current Confined Space
  • High Risk Ticket for EWP, Forklift, OH Crane
