We are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team in the Bowen Basin – one of Australia's most important mining regions. This role is ideal for tradespeople with a strong commitment to safety, precision, and quality, with proven experience in areas such as draglines, underground mining equipment, CHPP maintenance, and heavy wear-resistant fabrication.

Role Overview

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of heavy mining equipment and fixed plant. Working within experienced crews, you will interpret technical drawings, deliver high-quality results, and maintain strict compliance with safety and site standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication, repair, and maintenance of heavy mining equipment, draglines, and fixed plant
  • Support maintenance activities for underground mining machinery and CHPP facilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and mining regulations
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and team-focused work environment

Requirements

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication)
  • Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
  • Working at Heights & Confined Space tickets (desirable)
  • Proven mining or heavy industry experience (essential)
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence
