
Full-Time Bookkeeper

We are a small, established and award winning bookkeeping practice in Denmark, seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from home with a few days a week in our Denmark office.
We are looking for a local candidate and will not be considering applications from overseas employees or subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of WA business clients.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS). Plus other ATO compliant documents.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping) are highly desired. BAS Agent would be ideal.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in dealing with numerous clients.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple client deadlines.
- Interest in FinTech advantageous.
