ABOUT US:
Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Flexible Schools Ltd currently educates over 2,400 young people in 21 Flexible Learning Schools (12 based in Queensland and 9 other schools across Australia) and two Special Education Services Schools in NSW, with approximately 700 staff nationally. Flexi schools serve young people who experience complex educational, social or psychological situations which demand unique responses.
They enable young people to engage in education in a supported learning environment through a methodology based on trauma informed practice, to co-create a Common Ground using Operation by Principles, in which the principles of Honesty, Respect, Participation, Safe & Legal are embedded. Our special schools serve young people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The
Program Manager - Growth
works collaboratively with national and regional executives, and school leaders to ensure the successful delivery of all new EREAFSL Flexi and Special School sites across Australia. The role acts under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. The role ensures the effective planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of multiple projects within the program, while managing stakeholder relationships, resources, risks, and budgets to achieve desired outcomes.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:
Values Alignment: Understanding of and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system of schools in the Edmund Rice tradition, focussing on young people with additional needs and challenges.
Excellent Communication: Able to translate complex project details into clear, concise, and simple language for senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong People Skills: A natural collaborator who can build rapport and influence without direct authority.
Strategic Thinking: Able to see how individual components fit into a larger plan and anticipate future challenges.
Problem Solving: Resourceful and proactive in identifying issues and finding effective solutions.
Appropriate qualifications and demonstrated relevant professional experience (e.g. Project Management, Business, Public Administration). Post-graduate qualifications in project management will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will ideally be a seasoned construction projects program manager with prior experience working at the program and projects levels in the school education environment.
